How things are different

When I'm back in Penang I had no trouble at all talking to my friends, everything was cool. However, I don't know why it is a problem to some people that they'll say 'hey why are you so mean?' or 'hey why are you so angry? Chill can you?' etc. It really annoys me much, as I'm not angry or anything but perhaps my tones are harsher probably because some stupid questions that was asked? I don't understand why there is no problem at all for me to communicate with everyone else but there are just those few who just have to make those comments...sigh
