Trip - Day 1

Waiting for transit at Guagzhou Bai Yun Airport, and thats my flight, CZ 3303

This is the plane I'm boarding

Again, sea of cottons

Really looks like cotton, doesn't it?

And finally, reached Guilin Airport

And brought to the hotel, Jin Tong Hotel

It's already late, but I've come so far and sat a whole day of plane so I'm not gonna just stay in hotel. I went out for a walk around the town.
And this, is another hotel nearby. It looks better than ours.

In China, they put lights on most of the structures, colourful lights

Then walked to this night market, the most happening street in Guilin

The first stall on the street, selling durians!! And nangka!! Lol, tried the nangka and it tasted quite alright, but I don't think I wanna try the durian. Penang durian is still the best!!

There are stall selling winter boots

Stalls selling food, including packs of black ants!!

Local delicacies, pickled food

Stall selling eggs, drawn for artistic decoration

Stalls selling unique products, like this fruit basket

And some typical China products

What surprised me is this, special edition cards!! Haha, but I didn't buy any because they were too expensive.

Saw this glass bridge, which is also lighted up at night, like all other structures

There are a lot of stalls like this on all streets in Guilin, selling drinks, snacks, like an outdoor 7 eleven.

The Land of Cotton

I was in the land of cotton again, where was I headed this time? Well, all I can say is that it was sudden and spontaneous.

Past and present tense of a Christmas party

A year ago I was here
A year later I am here
Different company
Different feeling

A year ago it was Christmas carol and gift exchange
A year later it is chattering and song performances
A little more woo ha outside
A little more emptiness inside

A year ago I had company and care
A year later I see company and care
How I wish I was back in a year ago
How I wish a year ago happened again

Murderer on the loose

The murderer's cloak

Evidence of crime

The victims?
5 poor rats
Including my favourite rat number 3
I shall mourn for them
